Position: Intensivist / General Physician
Department: Critical Care / Medicine
Location: Apple Hospital, Indore
Reports To: Medical Superintendent

Role Summary

The Intensivist / General Physician is responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to critically ill and general ward patients, managing emergencies, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring high standards of clinical quality and patient safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of ICU and general medicine patients.
• Manage critically ill patients including ventilator, inotropic, and emergency care.
• Conduct daily rounds in ICU and assigned wards.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans accordingly.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and code situations.
• Coordinate with consultants and other departments for patient management.
• Perform required bedside procedures as per competency.
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with NABH protocols, infection control, and safety guidelines.
• Guide and supervise duty doctors, nurses, and paramedical staff.
• Counsel patients and relatives regarding condition and treatment plans.
• Participate in clinical audits, CMEs, and quality improvement activities.
• Follow hospital policies and ethical medical practices.

Required Qualifications

• For Intensivist: MD / DNB in Medicine / Critical Care / IDCCM or equivalent

Experience: Minimum 3–5 years ICU & Pysician experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹150,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per month
