About the Role

As our Interaction Design Intern, you’ll bring life and responsiveness to our product through motion. You’ll work on real-world, production-bound flows — from onboarding and screen transitions to subtle button hovers — using modern design tools and workflows.

This internship is ideal for someone excited by the Figma → Rive → Code motion pipeline, and eager to work closely with design and engineering to ship polished, purposeful interactions.

What You’ll Work On

• Prototype and design micro-interactions, state transitions, and animations
• Implement the full Figma → Rive workflow for production-ready motion assets
• Animate real flows: onboarding, switching strategies, nav transitions, success/error states
• Help define our motion system and component behaviors
• Collaborate with developers to bring Rive animations into the live product via runtime

What You’ll Need

• A portfolio (or samples) that show UI animation or interaction design work
• Experience with Figma and Rive (or eagerness to learn Rive quickly)
• Strong understanding of interaction timing, pacing, and UX clarity
• Curiosity about how motion affects trust, performance, and engagement
• Comfortable working asynchronously and iteratively with fast feedback cycles

This is an unpaid internship for U.S.-based candidates only.

Pay: $1.00 - $10.00 per hour
