Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Interface Engineer to join our team in Qatar for a 36-month project. The successful candidate will have a strong background in engineering, preferably with experience in hospital projects in Qatar, and a proven track record of working in design and construction consultancy. The Interface Engineer will be responsible for ensuring seamless communication and coordination between various stakeholders, including contractors, architects, engineers, and clients, to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage interfaces between different disciplines, stakeholders, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution
• Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential interface issues that could impact project timelines, budgets, or quality
• Develop and maintain interface management plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure effective communication and collaboration
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and other forums to promote interface coordination and problem-solving
• Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement solutions to interface-related issues
• Monitor and report on interface-related progress, issues, and risks to project management and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (BSc)
• Minimum 15 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 7 years of experience in interface engineering or a related field
• Experience working in hospital projects in Qatar is highly preferred
• Consultancy experience in design and construction is essential
• Strong knowledge of interface management principles, practices, and techniques
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders
• Strong analytical and reporting skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on large-scale projects in Qatar, particularly in the healthcare sector
• Familiarity with Qatar's regulatory environment and industry standards
• Certification in interface management or a related field
• Experience with project management software and tools
