WSP is seeking a proactive Interface Management Specialist to support a major Roads & Highways construction programme in Riyadh. The role will ensure seamless coordination between multiple project stakeholders, contractors, design teams, authorities, and internal WSP disciplines to mitigate interface risks and maintain project delivery standards.
This is a key position requiring strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and technical coordination capabilities-supporting one of the Kingdom's flagship infrastructure developments.
Qualifications
- Saudi National (mandatory, in line with Saudization requirements).
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, or a related field.
- 5-10 years' experience in interface management, coordination, or project controls within large infrastructure or road projects.
- Previous experience working with international engineering consultancies or PMC teams (WSP experience advantageous).
- Strong understanding of highways design, utilities, construction sequencing, and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, especially with contractors and government bodies.
- Proficiency in interface tools, tracking systems, and common project management software.
- Ability to handle a fast paced construction environment with multiple workfronts and dependencies.
- Strong problem solving, negotiation, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Interface Management Plan, processes, and register across all project stages.
- Identify, track, and resolve interface issues between contractors, consultants, third parties, and government entities.
- Facilitate coordination between design, construction, utilities, traffic management, and permitting teams.
- Prepare and lead interface coordination meetings, workshops, and technical discussions.
- Ensure all interface requirements are clearly communicated, validated, and incorporated into design and construction deliverables.
- Monitor progress of interface-related actions, risks, and dependencies, escalating issues when required.
- Liaise with external authorities (e.g., MOT, MOMRA, RCRC, Utility Providers) to secure approvals and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Support change control processes related to scope interfaces and design impacts.
- Produce interface reports, dashboards, and updates for senior management and client stakeholders.
- Ensure all interface documentation is properly maintained and auditable.
