Summary Description:
The core responsibility of this role is to ensure effective communication and coordination among all project stakeholders, facilitating the smooth progress of the project and the achievement of its established objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as the central point of contact for all project stakeholders, including the Employer, Project Manager, Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Regulatory Authorities, and facilitate effective communication and information flow between these parties.
Manage and coordinate interfaces between various project components (such as civil, electrical, mechanical, and architectural works) to ensure their seamless collaboration and compliance with project requirements.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project documents, contracts, plans, and correspondence, ensuring all stakeholders have access to the latest and most relevant information.
Address, resolve conflicts and disputes that may arise between different parties involved in the project.
Ensure the work performed by different Contractors and Subcontractors meets the project’s quality standards and specifications.
Manage and monitor project schedules to ensure all project activities are sequenced and completed on time; identify potential delays and work with relevant parties to develop mitigation measures.
Identify and assess potential risks and challenges at interfaces between different project components, and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Ensure full compliance with all relevant regulations throughout the work process, and obtain necessary permits and approvals as required.
Perform work within the project budget and assist in controlling costs related to interface management.
Provide progress reports to the Project Management team and stakeholders, highlighting issues, achievements, and deviations from the project plan.
Monitor and enforce the terms and conditions of contracts between various participating parties.
Qualification Requirements:
Proven experience in mega engineering projects covering Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Commissioning, and Hand Over phases.
A minimum of 15 years of hands-on experience in interface management.
Working knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modeling) in the design and construction process.
A degree qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
Tertiary qualifications such as HND (Higher National Diploma) or HNC (Higher National Certificate) in a related field/subject.
Fluent in spoken and written English (Mandatory)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ﷼15,000.00 - ﷼22,000.00 per month
