Schedule: Full Time, 5x8s, 8:30am - 5:00pm; hours may vary slightly based on operational needs and workload.
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks (possibility of extending)
Compensation:
This position offers a daily rate of $635 to $650 which equates to $3,175 to $3,250 per week (based on a 5-day / 40-hour workweek)
Per Diems: Lodging: $191 per day and Meals & Incidentals: $86 per day
Per diems are paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $1,939 per week
Auto Stipend: $25 per day
Stipend is paid daily, 7 days a week, totaling $175 per week
Total Weekly Compensation (Daily Rate + Per Diems + Stipend): Between $5,289 to $5,364 per week
Benefits: Paid sick leave, Paid holidays, Co-paid medical, dental, and vision insurance, Cafeteria plan access and 401(k) retirement plan.
Summary:
Oversees daily clinical operations, patient care delivery, and staff performance for home-based services. Responsibilities include implementing best practices, mentoring staff, managing schedules, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with physicians for safe, high-quality care.
Essential Functions:
Provide leadership and oversight for daily clinical operations within the home health program.
Supervise, coach, and support nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe, effective care.
Monitor staffing, workload, and resource utilization to meet patient care needs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and quality requirements.
Address and resolve patient, family, and staff concerns in a timely manner.
Support hiring, performance management, and staff development activities.
Review data and reports to identify opportunities for operational and quality improvements.
Manage department operations, including workflow, budgeting support, and process improvement initiatives.
Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff while promoting best clinical practices.
Qualifications:
BSN or BA in health care related field required. Experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
Current California RN License required.
BLS and ACLS Certifications required.
Clinical nursing experience relevant to specialty (3-4 years), including 2 years of leadership experience required.
