Interior Architect

Job Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Interior architect with experience in interior design projects to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing precise technical drawings, layouts, and detailed shop drawings for high-end interior design projects. This role requires strong technical skills, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to translate design concepts into accurate working drawings for execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Drawings & Detailing:

• Prepare detailed CAD drawings, layouts, and technical documentation for interior fit-out projects.
• Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and joinery details based on design specifications.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with project requirements, industry standards, and building regulations.
• Work closely with designers, architects, and project managers to refine and modify drawings as needed.

Coordination & Documentation:

• Coordinate with site teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure drawings align with execution requirements.
• Assist in material specifications, measurements, and quantity take-offs for procurement.
• Maintain an organized database of all drawings, revisions, and related documents.
• Prepare 3D models on Sketch-Up to support design presentations.

Site Supervision & Compliance:

• Conduct site visits to verify measurements and ensure accurate implementation of designs.
• Address any technical queries from the site team and provide necessary adjustments.
• Ensure all drawings are updated to reflect on-site modifications and final as-built conditions.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in similar position in interior design or fit-out studio.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp are Mandatory
• Strong understanding of joinery details, furniture design, materials, and construction methods.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in drafting and documentation.
• Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with designers and project teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software (e.g., 3ds Max, Lumion, V-Ray) is a plus.
• Experience in luxury interiors, hospitality, or commercial fit-out projects.
• Understanding of building codes, fire safety regulations, and site coordination.
