The Construction Manager is responsible for monitoring projects that have been assigned to the Project Management team to ensure that each project is completed on time, within budget and scope, and that the desired result is achieved with the most efficient use of resources. His / Her key role is to ensure that the project’s objectives and the different interests of the involved stakeholders are met, and financial, technical, and contractual specs agreed with clients are met.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
· Project Management: Lead and manage multiple interior fit-out projects from inception to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
· Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate a team of site engineers, foremen, and subcontractors, ensuring all personnel follow project plans and meet performance targets.
· Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, track project costs, and ensure effective cost control and resource management. Monitor and approve project expenditures.
· Quality Assurance: Ensure all work complies with the highest industry standards, company quality procedures, and client specifications. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality and compliance.
· Schedule Management: Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones are met and identifying potential delays or issues early to mitigate risks.
· Client Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the client, designers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Provide regular project updates and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
· Health & Safety: Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. Monitor the site for hazards and implement corrective measures as required.
· Procurement & Subcontractor Management: Oversee procurement of materials, and manage subcontractors to ensure timely delivery and quality of services.
· Documentation & Reporting: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and compliance records. Ensure accurate and up-to-date reports for senior management and clients.
MIS, Reports & Documentation
· Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as required. Actual vs planned progress to be provided on a weekly basis with a 2-week lookahead.
· Prepare and distribute progress reports, manage risks and issues, correct deviations from plans, and perform delivery planning for assigned projects in coordination with the Quantity Surveyor (QS).
· Maintain comprehensive project documentation including lessons learned, MOMs, O&Ms, as-builts, etc.
· Fill in the service acceptance letter (SAL) after project completion.
· Prepare the final closing documents including the technical write ups.

Education & Experience
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, RICS) is a plus.
· Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in construction management, with at least 3 years in interior fit-out projects in the UAE or GCC region.
· Technical Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of interior construction techniques, materials, finishes, and systems. Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
· Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and communicate effectively with clients, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers.
· Budget & Cost Management: Strong experience in managing project budgets, cost forecasting, and value engineering.
· Software Skills: Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., MS Dynamics, and MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Language Skills: Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
· Certifications: HSE certification or similar is a strong advantage.
