- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience defining and implementing security and resilience programs and strategies.
- 4 years of experience controlling security risks, and developing methods to reduce or mitigate these threats.
- 2 years of experience in project management, including identifying problems, developing recommendations, and implementing solutions.
- Experience seeking and procuring appropriate resources or vendors based on business needs.
- Ability to leverage expertise in resilience domain to guide and mentor junior team members.
- Ability to build strategic partnerships with internal and external stakeholders, and communicate effectively with executive leaders.
- Ability to analyze and leverage data and metrics to draw insights, and identify resilience process improvement opportunities.

In this role, you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness.
- Implement and manage security and resilience programs, including collecting feedback, ensuring documentation is up to date, facilitating discussions to follow up with stakeholders, and proposing or implementing changes for continuous improvement.
- Develop, maintain, and execute protocols and practices to assess and mitigate threats to company personnel and assets, managing crises and delivering threat assessment services.
- Provide trend, data analysis, and performance reporting for security related disciplines, using risk analytic methodologies and structured analytic techniques on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Support incident response teams and Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) efforts, assisting where needed and joining activities that help get ahead of potential incident consequences.
