Interior CAD draftsman

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Draft detailed shop drawings for joinery, stone/marble, metal/glass, gypsum and ceilings, including BOH/service areas.
• Convert design intent into fabrication-ready sheets with sections, exploded details, edge conditions, cut-lists/labels.
• Extract and manage schedules (doors, ironmongery, sanitary, finishes) and coordinate with procurement/QS.
• Build/update Revit models to LOD 300–350; export clean DWGs for vendors; maintain sheet sets & revision history. (Not Must but if YES will be prefered)
• Perform basic clash checks and coordinate openings, soffits, access panels with MEP/structure.
• Support authority submissions (DM/DCD) with compliant notes/symbols and respond to comments.
• Attend site meetings; issue redlines/as-builts; track queries and RFIs.

Must-Haves

• 5–10 years drafting for interior fit-out; expert AutoCAD; working Revit; shop-drawing portfolio.
• Strong command over tolerances, fixing details, and wet-area build-ups.

KPIs

• Sheet throughput/week, first-pass approval rate, RFI turnaround, and revision count per sheet—targets set in onboarding.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Interior CAD draftsman: 4 years (Required)
• joinery & fitouts : 2 years (Required)
