Interior Design Assistant

We are seeking a versatile Interior Design Assistant to support our team with 3D modeling, rendering, and the preparation of interior working drawings, particularly for interiors and bespoke joinery. The ideal candidate should have a background or understanding of architectural and engineering concepts and be eager to contribute to a collaborative design environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating detailed 3D models for interior spaces and custom joinery
• Produce high-quality renderings to communicate design intent effectively
• Prepare and revise interior working drawings, ensuring accuracy and clarity
• Apply a foundational understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) and structural elements in support of design and coordination
• Collaborate closely with design and project teams to ensure seamless project execution

Qualifications:

• Background or experience in interior design and joinery, with architectural awareness
• Proficient in 2D drafting and 3D modeling/rendering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, V-Ray, Enscape, Thea Render, Lumion, etc.)
• Basic understanding of MEP systems and structural considerations related to interior fit-outs
• Adaptable, with the ability to manage various design and drafting tasks
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset
