Interior Design Assistant

This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to assist and collaborate on innovative design projects, support project execution from concept to completion, and develop your skills in a fast-paced, creative setting. You will work closely with senior designers and clients, gaining hands-on experience in drafting, visualization, and project management. If you’re passionate about interior design, detail-oriented, and eager to grow your expertise, this role is perfect for you!

Monday - Friday, weekends are very rare. Flexible Schedule. College Students are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Support the drafting of floor plans, elevations, sections, and detailed construction documents.
• Assist in creating detailed design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Help prepare presentations and visualizations to communicate design ideas effectively to clients.
• Collaborate on lighting design and selection, including lighting sales
• Contribute to project management tasks such as budgeting, scheduling, and tracking project milestones.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors during remodeling and construction phases to ensure design integrity.

Skills

• Friendly, Positive, Team Player
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Not required but bonus if you're proficient in SketchUp, Revit, , Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite for drafting and visualization.
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent communication skills

Pay: $20.00 - $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
