Interior Design Assistant

Job Summary

Duties

• Assist with interior design projects from concept to completion
• Source furniture, décor, fabrics, and materials
• Coordinate appointments with clients, vendors, and contractors
• Assist with project scheduling and follow-ups
• Help with mood boards, presentations, and basic design layouts
• Run local errands for project needs
• Maintain organized records of projects, orders, and invoices
• Contribute to lighting design and selection, incorporating principles of color theory
• Participate in renovation and remodeling projects by assisting with site visits, measurements, and material selections.
• Collaborate with the team on contract preparation, client proposals, and project documentation to ensure seamless project flow.
• Coordinate and assist with onsite installation and styling of design projects
• Manage social media pots, stories and engagement.

Requirements

• Knowledge of interior design fundamentals.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, vendors, and team members.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Prior experience with sales or design is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key!
