Interior Design Assistant

Dream Home Design is seeking a technically skilled Interior Design Assistant to join our

luxury design studio. In this role, you will support the drafting, modeling, and

coordination of high-end residential projects. This position is perfect for someone who is

passionate about both the technical and creative aspects of design.

What You’ll Do

 Produce precise CAD drawings, elevations, and technical documentation to

support the design process.

 Develop and enhance SketchUp models, create renderings, and review plans.

 Assist in sourcing furnishings, finishes, and materials to bring design concepts to

life.

 Maintain organized project files, specifications, and material schedules to ensure

seamless project progress.

 Support project management activities, including coordinating with vendors and

handling procurement tasks.

 Participate in site visits to document conditions, take measurements, conduct

walkthroughs and coordinate installations.

Who You Are

• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite or similar
• Comfortable reading architectural plans and producing technical drawings
• Detail‑oriented with strong spatial awareness and design intuition
• Organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlines
• Confident communicating with clients, vendors, and trades
• Experience in luxury residential design is a strong plus

Compensation & Benefits

 Hourly rate ranges from $20 to $26, depending on experience and technical

proficiency.

 Full-time schedule: Monday through Friday.
