Right Angle Kitchens is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Design Assistant to support our fast-paced kitchen and bath design team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both design and technical execution, and takes pride in producing clean, accurate, client-ready deliverables.

Position Overview

This role supports lead designers in the development, documentation, and presentation of residential kitchen and bath projects. The position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects in various stages of design and production.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain client presentation materials including plans, elevations, and visual layouts
• Build and edit designs in 2020 Design
• Produce polished presentation boards and title blocks using Adobe Illustrator
• Assist with revisions, redlines, and ongoing project updates
• Organize and manage digital files, drawings, and specifications
• Support material selections, sample coordination, and vendor communication
• Collaborate with designers to ensure projects stay on schedule and aligned with client expectations
• Assist with showroom upkeep and presentation as needed

Qualifications

• Proficiency in 2020 Design preferred
• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
• Degree or background in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Clear communication and willingness to take direction and feedback

Compensation

• Salary starting at $55,000, with flexibility based on experience
• Opportunity for growth within a collaborative design team

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
