Brynn Olson Design Group is an award-winning, full-service interior design firm recognized for creating thoughtfully curated, highly personalized interiors. We are seeking a Design Assistant with a refined eye, strong organizational and communication instincts, and a passion for exceptional design and strong attention to detail to join our collaborative studio.
In this role, you will support both the Interior Designer and Architectural Designer in the seamless execution of residential projects from initial concept through final installation. This is an opportunity to gain immersive experience across new construction, comprehensive renovations, bespoke furnishings, and fully realized turnkey environments
Key Responsibilities

Support the Interior Designer in management of design projects from concept through completion

Assist across all phases of the design process, including procurement and final installation

Support the Architectural Designer on construction project management, including schedules, documentation, and coordination with vendors and trades

Prepare and maintain AutoCAD drawings, including floor plans and elevations

Oversee tracking and management of FF&E from ordering through installation

Research and price furnishings, finishes, and materials through established trade networks

Assist with project budgets, tracking, and administrative documentation

Coordinate and execute flawless turnkey installations, including styling and placement of accessories

Assist with invoicing, procurement documentation, and general project administration

Provide polished, professional communication support with clients as needed

Support photoshoots and styling for completed projects

Participate in occasional project-related travel
Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree required
-
Minimum of 2 years of professional experience or relevant internship

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint preferred)

Working knowledge of StudioWebware and Outlook preferred

Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision

Strong written and verbal communication skills with a polished, client-facing demeanor

Highly detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities

Collaborative, proactive, and resourceful within a fast-paced studio environment

Positive, team-oriented mindset with a high level of professionalism, integrity and discretion

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
