Interior Design Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with lead Interior Designers and helping to facilitate and manage projects from concept to completion.

Duties

• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and Studio Designer to create detailed design plans and specifications.
• Attend site visits to help assess spaces and ensure designs are implemented correctly during the construction phase.
• Coordinate with vendors and industry partners to ensure project timelines are met.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design.
• Data Entry, Place Orders, Expedite Orders, Arrange Shipping
• Schedule and Attend Vendor Meetings
• Maintain and Update Client Files

Skills

• Proficiency in interior design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Studio Designer is essential.
• Strong understanding of lighting design principles.
• Knowledge of color theory and its application in interior spaces.
• Excellent budgeting skills to manage project costs effectively.
• Ability to build strong relationships with lead desiners, team members, vendors and industry partners through effective communication.
• Creative problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in both aesthetics and functionality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
