Interior Design Assistant

Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Interior Design Assistant to support our design team in daily operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced, creative environment and is eager to gain hands-on experience in the interior design industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist designers during client meetings by preparing materials, taking notes, and providing general support
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment
• Manage front desk responsibilities, including greeting clients, answering phones, and handling general inquiries
• Create and update drawings using CAD software to support design projects
• Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all CAD-related tasks and revisions
• Help coordinate schedules and assist with day-to-day office tasks
• Support designers with administrative and project-related duties as needed

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to maintain a professional and welcoming front-of-house presence
• Proficiency in CAD software (required)
• Interest in interior design is preferred

Preferred (but not required):

• Experience in customer service or administrative roles
• Familiarity with design environments or showrooms

Work Environment:

• Collaborative, team-oriented design studio

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
