Interior Design Assistant (Full-time / Internship)

Job Summary
We are a real estate development company currently seeking an Interior Designer and Design Assistant to join our team! This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in interior design, project management, and technical drafting while supporting innovative design projects. You'll collaborate closely with senior designers, contribute to creative concepts, and gain hands-on experience in all phases of interior design—from conceptualization to execution. Responsibilities

• Assist in interior design concepts and space planning
• Support project coordination and communication
• Prepare design materials, mood boards, and presentations
• Conduct research on materials, finishes, and furnishings
• Assist with on-site visits and project follow-ups

Qualifications

• Background in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field
• Strong sense of design and attention to detail
• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, etc.) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Mandarin Chinese preferred

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of an interior design, architecture or related program.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Bluebeam, and Adobe Creative Suite is highly preferred.
• Basic understanding of drafting techniques, CAD software, color theory, lighting design principles, and construction processes.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members and clients effectively.
• Knowledge of contracts, remodeling procedures, budgeting practices, and sales strategies related to lighting sales or renovation projects is a plus.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for interior design innovation and sustainable solutions.
