Job Description
We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented and highly organized Interior Design assistant-Junior designer to join our interior design studio.
Your role is to assist and collaborate with the principal interior architect in all aspects of interior design projects, from concept, to plans, to completion.
This is a hands-on position offering great exposure to luxury design, project management, and client interaction within a supportive creative environment.
This role is ideal for a passionate designer eager to grow with our rapidly expanding business.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Principal Designer throughout all project phases.
  • Research and source materials.
  • Prepare Client presentations, mood boards from concept to completion.
  • Attend project meetings and job sites visits with Principal Designer and assist with documentation.
  • Organize and manage multiple projects files and scheduling.
  • Prepare detailed drawings, floor plans, and 3D renderings.
  • Coordinate with vendors to obtain samples, pricing, order tracking and deliveries.
  • Support the Principal Designer in day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks.

Qualifications- Requirements

  • Certification in Interior Architecture or Interior Design.
  • 2-3 years of experience in residential or commercial design.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Have a car with US driving license.
  • Applicant must be based in the Los Angeles area.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
  • Understanding of high end-luxury design
  • Knowledge of social media and Instagram is a plus.

Technical

  • Proficient in Apple/Mac computers.
  • Proficiency in design software: AutoCAD, SketchUp a plus.
  • Knowledge of Powerpoint, Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of construction documents.
  • Strong sense of aesthetics, color, materials, and spatial composition.
  • Great communication and client presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of ClickUp or other project management software is a plus.

- Location: West Hollywood/Beverly Hills
- Compensation: Hourly rate can be higher, will be based on experience.
- Time: Immediate start. Part-time trial period with the potential to grow into a full-time employment for the right candidate. Hours: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
