Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed BIM models (LOD 200-400) for interior design elements including finishes, ceilings, partitions, joinery, furniture, and fixtures.
- Produce 2D drawings, details, and shop drawings extracted from BIM models.
- Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, templates, and protocols.
- Coordinate interior design BIM models with architectural, structural, and MEP models to detect and resolve clashes.
- Support senior designers and project managers with design visualization, schedules, and material take-offs.
- Maintain an up-to-date library of families, blocks, and parametric components for ID works.
- Assist in preparing presentations, layouts, and technical documentation as per project requirements.
- Collaborate with contractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure accurate representation of design intent in BIM for all design details for hard finishes , joinery and FF&E .
- Support implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and ensure adherence to ISO 19650 or project-specific BIM requirements.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical input for interior fit-out solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture / Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in BIM/Revit modelling for Interior Design projects.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and related BIM tools.
- Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650, AIA, PAS 1192, etc.).
- Experience in fit-out detailing, joinery, and finishes modelling.
- Familiarity with material specifications, ID standards, and construction processes.
- Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary environment.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
