Interior Design Draftsman

As an Interior Design Draftsman, you will play a vital role in supporting the design and execution of our interior fit-out projects. You will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings and joinery details while collaborating closely with designers, engineers, and project teams to ensure the accuracy and clarity of design implementation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed interior drawings, including layout plans, ceiling plans, elevations, sections, and joinery details
• Translate conceptual sketches into precise and well-coordinated technical drawings
• Develop shop drawings and as-built documentation for fit-out works
• Ensure all drawings meet design specifications, local authority regulations, and company standards
• Coordinate with design, architectural, engineering, and site teams to resolve drawing issues
• Update and revise drawings based on client feedback or site conditions
• Organise and maintain drawing documentation and registers
• Assist in preparing material schedules when required

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior design drafting, preferably in the UAE/GCC
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or 3Ds Max is an advantage
• Strong expertise in joinery detailing, interior finishes, and materials
• Understanding of construction methods and fit-out coordination
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings
• High attention to detail, time management, and teamwork.
