Interior Design Fit-out Specialist - 1 Year Contract

We are currently recruiting an Interior Design Fit-out Specialist for a client, based out of their office in Dubai , UAE.

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly experienced and detail oriented Interior Design Fit-Out Specialist to lead and manage high end interior fit-out projects across hospitality, commercial, and retail sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design or architecture, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional fit-out works from design to execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and coordinate all phases of interior fit-out projects from IFC (Issued for Construction) to execution.
• Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of finishes, joinery, furniture, lighting, and related interior elements.
• Review and interpret design intent drawings, shop drawings, and material specifications to ensure accurate on-site execution.
• Supervise and monitor site activities, including partitions, ceilings, flooring, joinery, finishes, and furniture installation.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to align interior works with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire safety systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with design, specifications, and HSE standards.
• Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for material selection, approvals, and timely delivery. Prepare progress reports, snag lists, and handover documentation.
• Participate in project/site meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to resolve design and technical issues.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in interior fit-out projects, preferably in hospitality, commercial, or retail sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of interior finishes, joinery, furniture, and material specifications.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations, approvals, and fit-out guidelines.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and design standards.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
