Program Overview

The InterLux Interiors Internship Program is designed for emerging design professionals who are serious about pursuing a career in high-end residential interior design.

This is not a shadowing position. Interns will gain real-world exposure to:

• Luxury residential design development
• Material and finish specification
• Vendor and showroom coordination
• Technical drawing production
• Procurement systems
• Installation logistics
• Professional client communication
• Studio operations and workflow management

This program is immersive and structured to build both creative confidence and technical precision.

Duration options:

• 3–6 Month Intensive Internship
• 12 Month Professional Track (with hiring potential)

Education Requirements (Mandatory)

Applicants must hold:

• A Bachelor’s Degree (minimum 4-year program) from an accredited institution in:
• Interior Design
• Interior Architecture
• Architecture

Candidates without a completed bachelor’s degree will not be considered.

Technical Skills Required

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (required)
• Familiarity with SketchUp or 3D modeling
• Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop preferred)
• Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and construction detailing
• Ability to read architectural drawings

Compensation

This is a structured internship program.
Compensation and/or academic credit will be discussed during the interview process based on duration and qualifications.

Long-term internship participants (12-month track) may be considered for Junior Designer placement based on performance, contribution, and cultural alignment.
