Interior Design Intern (Paid Project)- Commercial Brand Elevation

Hidden Gem Beauty Bar is a growing salon brand based in the Miami/Kendall area preparing for a full commercial brand elevation.

We are seeking a talented Interior Design student or junior designer to lead the conceptual redesign of our entire salon space. This is a project-based, paid opportunity ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in a real, operating commercial environment.

This is not a minor refresh. We are looking for a designer who can both refine our existing look and thoughtfully push the brand forward into a more cohesive, aesthetic and experience-driven environment.

Scope of Work:

• Full-space concept development
• Layout refinement and spatial flow optimization
• Cohesive material and finish selection
• Lighting direction and atmosphere recommendations
• Retail and client experience integration
• 2–4 professional 3D renderings of key areas
• Mood boards and visual presentation deck

Qualifications:

• Currently studying Interior Design or recently graduated
• Strong proficiency in SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD, or similar 3D rendering software
• Ability to produce realistic 3D renderings
• Strong understanding of lighting and material layering
• Portfolio required (must include 3D renderings)

Compensation:

This is a project-based opportunity with a total budget range of $800–$1,200 depending on experience and scope. Estimated 25–40 total project hours.

This is a design-only role. Execution, purchasing, and installation will be handled internally.
