RHG A+D is an award-winning frequently published design focused firm. We are growing and looking to hire an Interior Design Project Manager with 3-5 years experience to support our talented design team. This is an intermediate-level support role ideal for someone with a strong foundation in interior design processes, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for bringing beautiful spaces to life. The Interior Design Project Manager will work closely with Interior Designers, Interior Architects, and Design Assistants across residential, hospitality, commercial, and workplace projects — helping to keep projects on track from initial concept through final installation.

Responsibilities and Duties

· Serve as the primary point of coordination between Interior Designers, vendors, contractors, and clients throughout all project phases.

· Manage project schedules, timelines, and milestones; proactively flag delays or conflicts to the design team.

· Track and maintain project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices; reconcile discrepancies and report status to project leads.

· Coordinate the procurement process including the sourcing, ordering, tracking, and expediting of furniture, fixtures, and finishes (FF&E).

· Organize and maintain project documentation including specifications, cut sheets, finish boards, and correspondence.

· Schedule and coordinate deliveries, installations, and walkthroughs; liaise with receiving warehouses and installation crews.

· Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and action item logs for internal and client-facing meetings.

· Support designers with presentation preparation including assembling boards, booklets, and digital presentations.

· Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all active and archived projects.

· Monitor and follow up on open items, sample requests, and vendor lead times to ensure timely project progression.

· Assist with client communication including scheduling, status updates, and follow-up correspondence as directed by designers.

· Research vendors, materials, and products as needed to support design selections.

Qualifications and Skills

· 3-5 years of experience in interior design, architecture, or related project coordination role.

· Familiarity with interior design processes, FF&E procurement, and construction documentation.

· Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office / Dropbox.

· Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and/or SketchUp is a plus; proficiency with Studio Designer or similar procurement/project management platforms preferred.

· Strong understanding of furniture, fixtures, finishes, and vendor lead times.

· Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interfacing with clients, vendors, and contractors.

· Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

· Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a fast-paced, creative studio environment.

· A genuine appreciation for design aesthetics and staying current with industry trends.
