Interior Design Sales Specialist

About the Role

JET Cabinetry | Home Design is growing fast, and we’re looking for a self-motivated, Interior Design & Sales Specialist to join our team. We serve homeowners, designers, investors, and builders across New Jersey with modern, luxury, and budget-friendly kitchen cabinets, closets, vanities, and other interior solutions.

This role is perfect for someone who wants flexibility, hands-on experience, and the opportunity to earn real equity or profit-sharing as the company scales. You’ll work directly with the owner and play a major role across client kitchen design sales, account management, design support, and administrative operations.

What You'll Do

You will be involved in every stage of the customer experience, including:

• Lead design & sales consultations (in-home & showroom), assess client needs, review inspiration, and collaborate with our internal design team
• Work closely with the owner to prepare accurate quotes, proposals, and project scopes
• Manage client communication and CRM, oversee project updates, scheduling, follow-ups, and documentation
• Drive customer-success initiatives such as referrals, reviews, client gifting, and loyalty touchpoints
• Assist the founder with operational tasks, special projects, and growth-focused initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Background in interior design, sales, customer service, or other client-facing roles
• Strong aesthetic sense and a foundational understanding of good design
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects at once
• Passionate about home improvement and/or interior design
• Excited to grow in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Nice to Have (Not Required): Enrollment in or recent graduation from a Business or Interior Design program

Compensation & Perks

• Flixeble part-time or full-time role with a minimal base salary and uncapped commissions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
