As an
Interior Design Senior Coordinator
, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all interior design activities to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality design solutions aligned with the project’s intent, schedule, and standards. This role serves as a vital link between design consultants, suppliers, and on-site execution teams to ensure seamless coordination and design implementation throughout all project stages.
Your responsibilities will encompass the following key areas:
Design Coordination

Coordinate between architectural, interior, and MEP disciplines to ensure design consistency and integration.

Review and track design drawings, material submissions, and shop drawings for compliance with design intent.

Assist in resolving design-related issues arising during construction.

Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure all interior details are accurately implemented.
Documentation & Drawings

Prepare and manage documentation related to interior design works, including material boards, design presentations, and technical submittals.

Review and comment on design drawings, joinery details, finishes layouts, and reflected ceiling plans.

Maintain and update drawing logs, ensuring all revisions and approvals are properly tracked.
Material & Finishes Coordination

Collaborate with suppliers and procurement teams to select and verify materials and finishes.

Review samples, mock-ups, and materials to ensure conformity with approved designs and specifications.

Support in reviewing and approving material submittals and shop drawings.
Site Coordination

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure the quality of interior works.

Coordinate with the site team to resolve any design discrepancies or installation issues.
Communication & Reporting

Prepare regular progress reports and share updates with management and consultants.

Participate in coordination and design review meetings to ensure smooth project execution.

Maintain organized documentation for all design-related communications and approvals.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes
:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture.

8–10 years of experience in the interior design field, preferably in large-scale projects.

Strong knowledge of interior finishes, detailing, and materials.
-
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of SketchUp or 3D visualization software is a plus.

Excellent communication, coordination, and organizational skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
