Interior Design Summer Intern

About the Role

We are a residential interior design studio based in Dallas, TX looking for an enthusiastic, artistic, and detail-oriented summer intern. You will work closely with studio Partners and our Lead Designers in a fast-paced, creative environment. This is an ideal opportunity for a motivated design student or recent graduate ready to gain hands-on experience.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Running various studio errands as needed
• Assisting in preparing client design presentations and mood boards
• Communicating with vendors to obtain pricing, samples, and product information
• General administrative and office duties
• Filing and maintaining fabric, material, and finish library
• Assisting with site visits, measurements, and installations
• Prepare drawings and renderings with AutoCAD and SketchUp

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an interior design program
• Strong multitasker with a solid work ethic; comfortable in a fast-paced setting
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; positive team attitude
• Professional appearance and demeanor required
• Self-starter with a proactive, can-do attitude
• Must have reliable personal transportation
• Proficient in Mac OS (required); AutoCAD (required), SketchUp, InDesign and Acrobat
