Summary

Position Description: Sapp Design Architects is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join our team as a collaborative member in a blended design approach. The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, with 5+ years of experience, and a portfolio with completed commercial or public projects. This individual would possess and apply interior design principles, practices, and procedures to complete assignments with originality and creativity.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in planning, designing, illustrating, & presenting project ideas and vision.
• Compiling storyboards and material selection based on client needs in preparation for client presentations.
• Coordinate with project consultants for interior design, materials, and interior architecture solutions.
• Work with the project team to ensure the project meets the Owner’s Vision and Sapp Design goals.
• Collaborate on a wide variety of project types and sizes from conception through construction.
• Assistance with preparation and presentation of construction drawings, 3-part specifications, checking and coordinating details and dimensions, developing and refining design concepts, renderings, and working on projects in all design phases.
• Knowledge of construction documents and detailing. •Supporting marketing efforts and graphics as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong understanding of interior design principles and practices.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Creative mindset with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills for client interactions.
• Experience in renovation or construction is a plus.

Pay: $55,555.36 - $66,905.38 per year
