Interior Designer

Overview
Michael Graves is looking for a creative, talented, and team-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic internationally acclaimed team. Ideal candidates should be passionate about design, work well in a collaborative team environment, and communicate ideas and approach in a clear and thoughtful manner. We are looking to fill positions in our Winston-Salem location.

Qualifications:

· A professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

· Six or more years of professional industry experience.

· NC Registered Interior Designer or ability to become registered in NC within one year of hire

· Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

· Experience with Enscape and other rendering software experience a plus

• LEED or WELL Accreditation is preferred

Responsibilities:

· Lead commercial design projects with significant client and user interface.

· Collaborate with the broader design team to generate architectural concepts for interiors projects

· Take full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing, and coordinating interior design assignments

· Research and develop concepts for FF&E, materials, finishes, colors, and other visual design elements

· Liaise with project managers, architects, and consultants to ensure cohesive project delivery

· Plan and design interior aspects of large or multiple projects, developing appropriate concepts and approaches

· Provide subject matter expertise on specialized components of interior design

· Participate in code compliance activities

· Exceptional organization and time management abilities

· Strong design, graphic, and presentation skills

· Thorough knowledge of relevant codes, operations, and industry trends

· Proven ability to mentor and manage teams

· Professional client interaction skills with the ability to foster and nurture relationships

· Experience providing sustainable design solutions

· Business development skills preferred
