Interior Designer

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Interior Designer with proven expertise in Qatar-based projects , both residential and commercial . The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in concept development, design presentation, tender documentation, client communication, project management, site supervision, and execution . The role requires both creative and technical proficiency, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects from design concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop concept designs , space planning, and mood boards in line with client requirements and project briefs.
• Prepare and present design proposals, 3D renderings, and material selections to clients and management.
• Oversee project management activities , including tender preparation, technical documentation, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct site supervision to ensure design intent is accurately implemented during construction and fit-out.
• Participate in client meetings , presentations, and project reviews.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project schedules, material boards, and specification documents .
• Collaborate with internal teams on design development and ensure alignment with company standards of quality and innovation.
• Ensure projects comply with Qatar’s building codes, regulations, and safety standards .
• Support business development efforts through design input for proposals and tender submissions .

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in interior design within Qatar , with a strong portfolio in residential and commercial projects .
• Proven experience in project management , from tender preparation to design execution.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, finishes, materials, and detailing .
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, V-Ray, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator).
• Experience with rendering and visualization tools.
• Excellent presentation, communication, and client-facing skills.
• Strong coordination skills and ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Knowledge of Qatar design regulations and permitting processes is an advantage.
