Interior Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles and a passion for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, developing design concepts, and overseeing the execution of projects from inception to completion.

Duties

• Collaborate with clients to determine their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints.
• Develop detailed design plans using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Create 3D models and renderings using tools like 3ds Max and Rhinoceros 3D to visualize design concepts.
• Prepare construction documents, including drafting specifications and contracts for contractors.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
• Conduct site visits to oversee renovations, construction progress, and ensure quality control.
• Provide expert advice on color theory, lighting design, furniture selection, and material choices.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance design offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Bluebeam, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Knowledge of construction processes, renovation techniques, and lighting sales is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
• A keen eye for detail with a strong understanding of drafting techniques and color theory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
