Wecselman Design is a high-end interior design firm based in Miami, internationally recognized for creating sophisticated, timeless, and artfully curated residential interiors. We are seeking an Interior Designer with excellent design sensibility, attention to detail, and a curated eye for furnishings, materials and finishes.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership within a fast-paced, collaborative environment and work closely with Creative Director Deborah Wecselman on a range of prestigious residential projects — from concept through installation.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in all phases of the design process, from concept development to final installation
  • Produce detailed drawings, including architectural, interior, and millwork documentation
  • Oversee construction, including site coordination, reviewing submittals, and preparing punch lists
  • Develop creative design concepts, space plans, and FF&E selections
  • Create detailed drawings, schedules, and specifications based on approved design direction
  • Review shop drawings and coordinate with consultants, vendors, and trades
  • Attend client meetings, presentations, and site visits
  • Manage orders from pricing and procurement through delivery and installation
  • Collaborate with the design team and take ownership of assigned projects to ensure quality and timeliness

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in high-end residential design
  • Strong technical background with proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience with SketchUp, Rhino, or other 3D modeling programs is a plus
  • Excellent design sensibility, attention to detail, and a curated eye for furnishings, materials and finishes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to interact confidently with clients and vendors
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Positive, collaborative attitude and openness to feedback

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
