We are seeking a proactive and technically proficient Intermediate Interior Designer with 3 to 4 years of professional experience . The primary focus of this role is the development of detailed, buildable technical drawings for retail fit-outs. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing small modification project and possess strong visualization and graphic presentation skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Detailed Technical Drawing Development : Produce comprehensive and accurate technical documentation, including:
- Detailed plans, elevations, sections, and details
- Custom millwork and joinery drawings, schedules, and specifications.
- Coordination of drawings with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and structural consultants.
- Preparation of design packages for tendering and construction.
- Design and Presentation Support:
- Assist senior designers with design concept development and material selection.
- Develop high-quality 3D visualizations and renderings to communicate design intent.
- Create compelling design presentations, mood boards, and material palettes.
- Collaboration: Work effectively with contractors, suppliers, and the in-house team to ensure the successful execution of the design vision.
- Quality Control: Ensure all work meets company and industry standards for design quality, technical accuracy, and adherence to codes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven, post-graduate experience in an Interior Design or Architecture firm .
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of AutoCAD to produce detailed construction drawings.
- Visualization & Presentation:
- Good knowledge and proven experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., SketchUp, 3d max or cinema 4d , corona renderer ..)
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for rendering post-production, image editing, and graphic presentation layouts.
- Project Handling: Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver the technical documentation for interior design projects.
- Design Knowledge: Strong understanding of building codes, construction methodologies, material specifications, and furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for client, consultant, and contractor interaction.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or a related field.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience with site supervision and quality checks.
- Familiarity with local or regional customs .
- Proficiency in other Adobe Creative Suite programs (e.g., InDesign, Illustrator).
