Interior Designer

Role Summary:

The Interior Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and executing interior design solutions for residential, commercial, or hospitality projects. The role involves creating functional and aesthetically appealing spaces while ensuring compliance with client requirements, project budgets, and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design Concept & Development

• Develop interior design concepts in line with client requirements, project objectives, and brand identity.
• Prepare mood boards, sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D visualizations.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and fixtures that meet functional and aesthetic standards.

2. Project Coordination & Execution

• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure design intent is implemented accurately.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and schedules for procurement and construction.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure design compliance.

3. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Meet with clients to present design proposals, gather feedback, and make revisions as necessary.
• Coordinate with suppliers, fabricators, and subcontractors for materials, furnishings, and finishes.
• Provide guidance and solutions to address design and execution challenges.

4. Budgeting & Documentation

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and material take-offs for interior projects.
• Maintain design documentation, drawings, and specifications throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure timely submission of design deliverables and reports.

5. Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all design work adheres to local codes, safety regulations, and sustainability standards.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections of installed interior elements.
• Recommend and implement improvements to maintain high-quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of experience in interior design, preferably with GCC projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, 3D Studio Max, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and other design software.
• Strong sense of aesthetics, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
