Interior Designer

Job Overview
This is a full time, on-site role for a Designer, located in Chapel Hill, NC. The Designer will manage and coordinate design projects from conception to completion, including creating construction drawings, handling project submittals, and space planning. The role will also involve collaborating with team members, clients, and vendors to ensure timely, budget-conscious project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts using tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Enscape.
• Create detailed drawings, renderings, and presentations to communicate design ideas effectively.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and contracts to ensure timely delivery of projects within scope.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints; provide expert guidance on color schemes, lighting solutions, and remodeling options.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and construction teams during renovation or remodeling phases to ensure design integrity.
• Prepare detailed specifications for lighting sales, fixtures, materials, and finishes.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation processes and troubleshoot any issues that arise during construction or renovation phases.
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate innovative design techniques into projects.

Qualifications

• Required skills in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and Photoshop
• Proficiency in creating, reviewing, and managing construction drawings and submittals
• Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively
• Excellent organizational and communication abilities
• Detail-oriented with a creative and problem-solving mindset
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
• Experience preferred

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
