Interior Designer

At LERDAHL: Inspired Workplace Interiors, we believe great spaces help people do their best work. We’re looking for a creative and collaborative Interior Designer to join our team and help design functional, inspiring environments for our clients.

In this role, you’ll work closely with clients and internal project teams to develop thoughtful workplace solutions, from concept and space planning to furniture specification and project proposals. If you enjoy combining creativity with problem-solving and want to work on a variety of commercial design projects, this could be a great fit.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and design leadership to deliver successful projects.
• Meet with clients to understand their needs, goals, and workspace requirements.
• Develop space plans, working drawings, and design presentations.
• Select furniture, finishes, and materials that align with client style, functionality, and budget.
• Lead client meetings related to project development and finish selections.
• Specify products and furnishings and prepare proposals with pricing.
• Manage furniture reconfigurations using new and existing products.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and inventory furnishings as needed.
• Track project progress through project management software.
• Coordinate ordering processes.

What We’re Looking For

• Someone who has 3 - 5 years of experience
• Associate degree or certification in Interior Design
• Experience with AutoCAD and commercial design principles
• Familiarity with CET/Configura software is a plus
• Knowledge of ADA and commercial building codes
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Passion for design and staying current with industry trends

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
