Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and project goals, translating them into compelling interior concepts.
• Create detailed design drawings and presentations using tools such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite to communicate ideas effectively.
• Develop comprehensive project plans including space planning, lighting design, color schemes, material selections, and furniture layouts.
• Manage multiple projects from initial concept through construction documentation while adhering to budgets and timelines.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers during renovation or remodeling phases to ensure design fidelity and quality standards are met.
• Prepare accurate drafting documents and specifications using CAD software like Bluebeam and Drafting techniques for seamless execution.
• Conduct site visits for inspections, oversee construction progress, and resolve any design or technical issues that arise during implementation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects across residential or commercial sectors.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D (3ds Max), Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam, and other relevant drafting or visualization tools.
• Solid understanding of interior design principles including color theory, lighting design & sales, space planning, and remodeling processes.
• Knowledge of construction documentation standards and contract management for seamless project delivery.
• Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and quality control.
• Strong communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with budgeting practices related to interior projects as well as vendor negotiations for furnishings or lighting sales.
• Experience in renovation or remodeling projects is highly desirable along with a good grasp of building codes and safety regulations. Pay: $49,925.91 - $60,125.82 per year
