Interior Designer

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing interior spaces that meet client needs and aesthetic standards. This role involves collaborating with clients, managing projects from conception to completion, and utilizing advanced design software to produce detailed plans. A strong understanding of interior design principles, construction processes, and project management is essential to deliver innovative and functional environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive interior design concepts aligned with client objectives and budget constraints.
• Create detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using software such as SketchUp, Revit, Rhino (Rhinoceros 3D), AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Prepare construction documents, specifications, and contracts ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers during renovation, remodeling, or construction phases.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality standards and deadlines.
• Conduct site visits to oversee installation processes and ensure design integrity.
• Present design ideas effectively to clients through visual presentations and mood boards.
• Stay updated on lighting sales, lighting design trends, color theory, and innovative materials.
• Assist in budgeting, project management, and contract negotiations to ensure project success.
• Collaborate with sales teams to promote lighting solutions and interior products tailored to client needs.

Requirements

• Proven experience in interior design with a portfolio showcasing diverse projects including renovation and remodeling.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator), Bluebeam, and drafting tools.
• Strong knowledge of CAD drafting, color theory, lighting design, and construction processes.
• Excellent project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with contracts, budgeting, sales strategies related to interior design and lighting solutions.
• Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations related to renovation projects.
• Exceptional communication skills for presenting ideas clearly to clients and team members.
