Interior Designer

We are looking for a candidate to join our team who is outgoing, hardworking, passionate about what they do, a self-starter, has a strong creative side with an ability to think outside of the box, and is an excellent problem solver. In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent time management skills. This position is full time and located in Orono, MN.

Responsibilities

• Attend all client meetings and assist in the design process for residential projects
• Assist in the selection of interior and exterior finishes for new home construction and remodels
• Document chosen selections into the necessary purchasing software
• Manage product offerings and inventory records of the selection center
• Source new products and maintain relationships with local showrooms
• Create Design Boards to be used for client meetings
• Assist field team with on-site client walk throughs throughout construction
• Coordinate installation of furniture for client homes
• Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs

Qualifications

• Prepare presentations (3D, 2D mock-ups and renderings) for clients
• Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or related field
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop (Revit preferred but not required)
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• 3-5 years minimum experience

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
