Duties

• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and contractors to understand project goals and translate them into innovative interior designs
• Develop comprehensive design concepts using digital design tools and art direction principles, ensuring alignment with client visions and brand identity
• Create detailed layouts, mood boards, 3D renderings, and visual presentations utilizing software such as SketchUp, Maya, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and CAD programs
• Select color schemes, materials, furnishings, lighting, and finishes based on color theory and current design trends to enhance visual appeal and functionality
• Produce technical drawings and specifications for construction teams while adhering to safety standards and building codes
• Incorporate photography skills to capture project progress and final results for portfolios or marketing purposes
• Stay updated on industry trends including digital art, motion graphics, web design, screen printing techniques, and fashion influences to infuse fresh ideas into projects

Qualifications

• Proven experience in interior design or related fields with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
• Proficiency in digital design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects; SketchUp; Maya; CAD; Sketch; HTML/CSS knowledge is a plus
• Solid understanding of art direction principles, typography, visual design, color theory, and layout design
• Experience with 2D/3D animation and motion graphics for presentations or promotional content
• Knowledge of print advertising production processes including illustration and production design techniques
• Ability to communicate creative ideas clearly through sketches, renderings, presentations, and written documentation
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in project management from concept development through execution
