Interior Designer

The Phinery is an interior design firm headquartered in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle. We are looking for a seasoned interior designer who can effectively consult with clients, write project proposals, deliver selections and drafting documentation, and ensure project execution.

Responsibilities:

• Consults with clients on-site.
• Scopes projects and writes proposals.
• Curates furnishings and decor selections.
• Provides hard surface, fixture, and finish selections.
• Custom cabinetry design, a plus.
• Drafts layouts and elevations.
• Window treatment and paint color expertise, a plus.
• Presents design recommendations to clients.
• Creates quotes and supports order management.
• Coordinates installation.
• Provides on-site styling services.

• Software Expertise in Sketchup or CAD, Microsoft Office Suite and Canva
• Skilled in digital layout design/graphic design
• 2020 Software, a plus

Experience:

• Proven experience working directly with clients on residential projects, both related to remodeling and furnishing.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in business, art, interior design, or related field.
• Provide his/her own transportation to/from clients homes (typically within a 20 mile radius of the office). Mileage reimbursement is included.
