About the Role

We are seeking a full-time Interior Designer in Roanoke, VA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or an early-career interior designer to build a successful career in commercial interiors. You will work alongside experienced professionals, develop technical and client-facing skills, and gain experience supporting projects from concept through installation. Candidate will work with clients, architecture and design firms, and our internal team in a fun, fast-paced environment. This team member must be a customer service and solutions-oriented professional who is self-motivated, detail oriented, and well organized. The candidate must also have strong written and verbal communication and excellent time management skills. Experience with AutoCad, CET Designer, Configura Spec, and Microsoft Office is desired. Candidate must have the ability to effectively prioritize competing tasks and take ownership for assignment results and details.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following tasks:

  • Specify and price furniture in corporate, education, government, and healthcare market segments
  • Space plan to code
  • Produce plans and renderings
  • Create detailed specifications including final finish selections
  • Enter and maintain accurate project information, specifications, and pricing within company business systems
  • Work with team to see project through installation
  • Travel to client sites

Candidate must possess a professional degree in Interior Design. Experience with a commercial furniture dealership is preferred; otherwise, we have a career path available. Candidate must have a satisfactory driving record and be able to pass pre-employment drug testing as well as background checks to maintain access to client sites.
