Interior Designer (Rhinebeck)

Optimus Architecture is primarily a healthcare architectural studio with an office in Rhinebeck, New York, providing full-service architectural and interior design services on project across the Northeast Region. We have an immediate opening for an Interior Designer to join our team.

Qualifications:

• Manage interior projects from schematic design through construction administration.
• Design, source, and present interior finishes, fixtures, furniture, hardware, lighting, and flooring in collaboration with the principal and other team members.
• Produce construction documents to support design concepts.
• Help coordinate details of architectural/interior design projects.
• Coordinate with architect and outside consultants throughout all project phases.

Requirements:

• Bacherlor’s Degree in Interior Design required.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Suite, WordPerfect, and Sketch-up.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize, with creative problem solving.
• Strong verbal, written and graphic communication skills.
• Same day travel occasionally required for site visits and field work.

Salary Range:

• $50,000 - $70,000; commensurate with experience
