INTERIOR DESIGNER -CONTRUCTION

Job Summary -

The Interior Designer is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing interior design concepts for construction projects, ensuring design intent is achieved while complying with project specifications, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, layouts, and mood boards
• Prepare detailed interior drawings, layouts, and specifications
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and site teams
• Select finishes, materials, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E)
• Prepare and review shop drawings, material submittals, and samples
• Conduct site visits to ensure design compliance during execution
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for design implementation
• Ensure designs meet client requirements and project standards
• Assist in snagging, de-snagging, and final handover

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Architecture
• 5–10 years of experience in interior design for construction projects
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and detailing
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or similar tools
• Ability to read and interpret construction and shop drawings
