Interior designer internship

An Interior Design Internship involves assisting senior designers with creative and administrative tasks to gain hands-on experience in the field. Responsibilities include drafting layouts, selecting materials and furnishings, creating mood boards and presentations, assisting with client meetings, and conducting research on trends. Interns often use design software like AutoCAD or SketchUp, help manage project timelines, and maintain design resources, providing a foundation for a professional design career. Key Responsibilities

• Design Support: Assisting with drafting space plans, creating mood boards, and selecting color palettes, furniture, fixtures, and finishes.
• Client Interaction: Participating in client meetings, taking notes, and helping to prepare design presentations.
• Project Coordination: Supporting project timelines, managing sample libraries, and liaising with vendors for product information and estimates.
• Research & Documentation: Conducting research on current design trends, materials, and client preferences.
• Software Proficiency: Utilizing design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Photoshop to create 2D and 3D models.
• Site Visits: Accompanying senior designers on site visits for measurements and to observe project progress.
