Interior Designer / Showroom General Manager

We are a high-end furniture showroom and interior design studio dedicated to creating beautiful, thoughtfully designed spaces. Our showroom features a curated collection of premium furnishings and décor, supported by a stocked warehouse and delivery team. We work closely with clients to design interiors that reflect their lifestyle and elevate their homes.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Interior Designer who will also serve as the General Manager of our showroom, leading both the design experience and daily store operations.

Position Overview
This is a unique leadership opportunity for someone who loves interior design and enjoys working directly with clients while also overseeing a well-organized retail environment. The ideal candidate will lead our showroom, manage a small team, and collaborate with clients to design beautiful living spaces using our curated furniture collections.

You will work alongside an assistant manager and coordinate with delivery drivers who assist with showroom staging and installations.

Key Responsibilities

Interior Design & Client Experience

• Work directly with clients who visit the showroom to develop furniture layouts and interior design concepts
• Guide clients through furniture selections, finishes, fabrics, and design solutions
• Create cohesive room designs using showroom inventory and vendor offerings
• Build long-term relationships with clients and support larger design projects

Showroom Leadership & Management

• Oversee daily operations of the showroom and warehouse coordination
• Lead and mentor the assistant manager
• Coordinate with delivery drivers for furniture staging, installations, and showroom rearrangements
• Maintain the showroom presentation to reflect a high-end design environment
• Manage incoming inventory, merchandising, and display changes
• Ensure a polished and professional customer experience

Sales & Business Development

• Help drive showroom sales through design consultations and relationship building
• Follow up with clients on design projects and furniture orders
• Identify opportunities to grow the design side of the business

Qualifications

• Professional experience in interior design, furniture design, or high-end furniture sales
• Strong passion for interior design and creating beautiful spaces
• Ability to lead a small team and manage showroom operations
• Strong interpersonal and client relationship skills
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable working in a retail showroom environment
• Experience with furniture merchandising or showroom styling is a strong plus

Preferred

• Interior design education or certification
• Experience managing a retail showroom or design studio
• Experience with floor planning or design software

Schedule
Full-time | 5 Working days per week, Closed on Sundays, One day off through work week with Saturdays on.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
