Working Hours: Two shifts – 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM

Working Days: 6 days per week

Job Summary

Omaia International Company is seeking a Residential Interior Designer – Sales to join our showroom team in Hawalli. This role focuses exclusively on residential projects , combining interior design creativity with client-facing sales responsibilities. The designer will manage residential clients from initial consultation through design development and project follow-up, under the supervision of a Senior Designer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet residential clients in the showroom and during site visits to understand requirements and lifestyle preferences
  • Prepare interior design concepts for residential furniture, curtains, and home décor items
  • Develop mood boards, layouts, and material selections suitable for high-end residential projects
  • Produce 2D drawings and 3D visualizations for client presentations and approvals
  • Assist in quantity surveying and preparation of basic cost estimates
  • Support project supervision during fabrication and installation stages
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate execution of approved designs
  • Actively participate in the sales process , including presentations, follow-ups, and negotiations
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with residential clients
Mandatory Requirements
  • College graduate (Interior Design or related field preferred)
  • Age between 24–35 years
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in residential interior design and/or sales
  • Valid Kuwaiti driving license
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written)
  • Proficiency in the following software:
  • AutoCAD
  • 3ds Max
  • V-Ray
  • SketchUp
  • Photoshop
  • Strong creative skills in residential interior design
  • Demonstrated sales and negotiation abilities
  • Presentable, professional appearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Arab candidate from the Middle East region
  • Experience working in residential showrooms or high-end interior companies
  • Prior exposure to premium or international furniture and interior brands

  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills
  • Ability to balance design creativity with commercial awareness
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple residential clients
  • Confident, proactive, and results-driven
  • Willingness to learn and work under senior designer supervision
