Interior Designer/Sales Associate

The ideal candidate will have excellent creative thinking skills and be able to create designs based on conversations with a client. The candidate should be confident communicating regularly with the client in order to assess their needs and be able to adjust a given approach based on feedback. The candidate should maintain familiarity with the interior design landscape and trends in order to provide the best ideas for clients.

Responsibilities

· Create attractive designs and layouts for various projects

· Meet with client in order to understand the client's objectives and desires

· Communicate effectively with client, vendors and team in order to address client's needs

· Prepare presentations (AutoCAD) for clients

· Create quotes for clients and ensure full workflow is followed

· Process and track orders, invoice customers and manage payments for each order placed

· Project Management- On and Off Site

· Assist with all showroom operations

· Maintain current clientele and build relationships with new clients

· Provide excellent customer service in showroom as well as by phone and email

· Assist clients and designers with furniture, lighting, fabric and wallpaper selections

· Quote custom furniture, drapery and pillows to clients

· Order and mail samples to clients

Qualifications

· Bilingual- Spanish/English

· Strong creative and communication skills

· Able to produce and read AutoCAD drawings and elevations

· Sales experience with high end furniture and an interior design background

· Design Manager software knowledge a plus

· Able to work in fast paced environment

· Detail oriented and organized

· Must be a problem solver, multi-tasker, able to work under pressure

· Knowledge of Sketch up is a plus

Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
